Nacho and Hilario Figueras to buy a Miami condo asking $3.1M
Prince Harry’s best friend, the Argentine polo playing champion, model and philanthropist Nacho Figueras — and his polo-playing 25-year-old son, Hilario — are in contract to buy a splashy spread at Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences.
The three-bedroom, 3.5-bath residence, which will be Hilario’s pied-à-terre in Miami, was asking $3.1 million.

Nacho and his wife Delfina live mainly in Palm Beach, and spend time in Argentina — as well as other American cities like Aspen, and Santa Barbara, a spokesperson said. Hilario is the eldest of their four children.
At 2,951 square feet, the home will feature a private elevator and a massive 968-square-foot terrace, with views of Wynwood and the city skyline.
Miami Tropic is Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s first residential building, in Miami’s pedestrian-friendly Design District area.
It was designed by award-winning architecture firm Arquitectonica, with interiors by top design duo Yabu Pushelberg — and developed by Terra and Lion.
Hilario brought his father the deal, Nacho said, adding that the building has everything “polo players like us” could ask for.
Hilario added that the Design District’s “walkability, elegance and vibrant culture,” combined with Miami’s rise as a health and wellness center, made it the “right choice.”
The home, unit 3505, will open into a foyer that leads to a great room. Design details include 11-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
The sleek chef’s kitchen also serves as an anchor and heart of the home. It was co-designed by Vongerichten and features greenery, textured fabric and natural materials.
For those apartment owners who prefer a private chef, that can be arranged — as can Vongerichten’s team to stock their fridge with curated wines and cold-pressed juices shortly before their arrival.
Hilario tells Gimme his favorite part about the building includes the private Jean-Georges restaurant, which will be on the eighth floor, and that food is where the family comes together.
He also likes the idea of having the fridge stocked with “freshly squeezed juices. I’m huge on a good, natural orange juice, and everything you can make a good breakfast with: avocados, eggs and vegetables. Polo season starts the beginning of January in Wellington, so I will be back and forth from Miami.”
The 48-story development will boast 329 condos plus retail, and 41,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities — all slated for completion in 2028.
