Mickey Rourke looks unrecognizable following ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ scandal

Mickey Rourke was a shadow of his former self as he emerged from his Beverly Hills home in a rare public sighting.

In photos obtained by Page Six, the “Celebrity Big Brother UK” alum, 72, stepped out of his house on Aug. 11 to speak with a pest control and termite tech.

Rourke was seen wearing an unzipped gray hoodie with no shirt underneath. He also wore green leisure pants and sneakers.

The former pro boxer — who has had multiple reconstructive surgeries due to injuries — appeared disheveled with unkempt gray hair.

The 80s icon, who memorably starred alongside Kim Basinger in the seductive 1986 romance “9 1/2 weeks,” accessorized with a silver-toned necklace and carried a white paper bag during the hourlong conversation.

The sighting comes four months after the actor was kicked off “Celebrity Big Brother UK” for “threatening and aggressive behavior” — in addition to shocking “homophobic” remarks made toward fellow contestant JoJo Siwa.

A spokesperson for ITV released a statement in April confirming the former athlete had “agreed to leave” the reality show following “further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behavior” in the house.

“Mickey was ready to leave the house and it ended up feeling like a mutual decision between him and ITV in the end,” a source told the Sun at the time of Rourke’s multiple clashes with castmates. “It was getting too much.”

Rourke initially came under fire for his behavior on the show days earlier, when he attacked the “Karma” hitmaker with a series of homophobic remarks.

“Do you like girls or boys?” the “Sin City” actor asked in footage from the show. “Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary,” she responded, referencing former partner Kath Ebbs.

Rourke’s reply insinuated he could change the “Dance Mom” alum’s sexual orientation. “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore,” he said, to which Siwa replied, “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship.”

Rourke later sparred with castmate Chris Hughes — with whom Siwa is now in a romantic relationship — after saying he would “vote the lesbian out real quick.” The remark was met with a swift rebuke from Siwa, who labeled the comment “homophobic.”

Hughes told the actor he “can’t do that,” to which Rourke said he needed “a f–g,” adding to Siwa, “I’m not talking to you.” Hughes told the star he couldn’t use derogatory language in the house, but Rourke said he was “talking about a cigarette.”

Rourke was warned that he’d be “removed” from the cast if the behavior continued. Rourke apologized at the time, saying he didn’t “have dishonorable intentions.”

But the situation escalated when Hughes gave Rourke a noticeable side-eye while the cast members were performing a task dressed as pirates — and Rourke unloaded on him with a barrage of offensive insults.

A source told the Sun that the actor “didn’t like Chris disrespecting him with the side eye and went for him with loads of smack talk” that resulted in him being asked to leave the house.

“On this occasion, it was offensive, threatening and aggressive,” they added. “However it didn’t get physical and security nor producers did not need to intervene.”

Rourke again apologized after his exit from the series. “I stepped over the line,” he said in a statement, adding that he’s a “work in progress” with an admittedly “short fuse.”

“I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life.”
