Martha Stewart wants role in Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce wedding

Martha Stewart is enchanted by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story.

In fact, the lifestyle guru, 84, is serving up the perfect way to celebrate the couple’s special day.

Stewart posted a shot from Swift, 35, and Kelce’s engagement above a video of herself sipping a glass of white wine.

In the clip, she called the drink “the nectar of the Gods.”

Stewart captioned the post, “It’s time to call in the ultimate wedding planner 🚨.”

Stewart made the Instagram montage a joint post with her Martha Stewart Weddings account.

Martha Stewart Weddings is an online magazine that first launched in 1994. In 1999, the digital magazine became a quarterly.

Fans and friends flocked to the comments section to give their stamp of approval.

One follower wrote, “Props to Auntie Martha for putting her bid in early! This would be iconic,” while a second noted, “I want to watch this reality show.”

The Betty Crocker Instagram account added, “We’ll help with the cake!”

And Stewart may have a way into the inner circle of this wedding. In May 2024, the entrepreneur interviewed Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce.

The pair chatted for a Mother’s Day episode on “The Martha Stewart Podcast.”

During the conversation, Stewart mentioned Donna’s future daughter-in-law.

“I was begged not to mention Taylor Swift but I just want to say you always look so great with her in the box when she was at the games with you and she’s lovely,” the author began. “I’ve met her and she’s lovely. So, good luck with that because that is some situation.”

“Yeah, well you never know. Time will tell but I know they are both friendly. They are both generous. They are both loving. They are both caring individuals,” Donna, 72, replied. “They are both adults.”

Swift and Kelce, 35, announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the songstress wrote alongside multiple pictures from their engagement shoot.

One photo in particular showed Swift’s dazzling engagement ring, which Page Six reported is an old mine brilliant-cut diamond in a gold bezel setting that the NFL star designed himself.

Stewart wasn’t the only celebrity to react to the news that broke the internet.

In the Tuesday Instagram video, the actors were on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., as they sang along to a remix of Swift’s hit tune, “Love Story.”

“When you hear the happiest news at the happiest place on earth,” the text in the clip read.

Stamos, 62, captioned the footage, “Where were you when you heard the news?”

Swift’s longtime best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, re-posted the proposal to her Instagram Stories and simply wrote, “This,” with a red heart emoji.

Reese Witherspoon also chimed in on the celebratory moment.

Back in the mid-aughts, both Witherspoon, 49, and Swift dated Jake Gyllenhaal. The “Legally Blonde” star was romantically involved with the actor, 44, from 2007 to 2009.

For her part, Swift dated Gyllenhaal briefly in 2010. Their romance is rumored to have inspired her hit track “All Too Well.”

“Guys, we’re trying to concentrate and do work here and Taylor Swift got engaged and it’s very exciting,” Witherspoon said in an Instagram Stories video.

Someone was heard cheering in the background as the actress asked to be shown the artist’s diamond.

After seeing the ring, Witherspoon’s jaw dropped. “That’s a pretty ring,” she stated.

Witherspoon then mouthed the words, “Oh my God.”

The “Sweet Home Alabama” vet captioned the cheeky video, “Did anyone else’s work day go completely out the window because @taylorswift is engaged?”
