Lil Nas X breaks silence about near-naked arrest, alleged assault of LA cops

Lil Nas X broke his silence Monday about his bizarre, nearly nude arrest that included an alleged assault of a Los Angeles cop, calling the ordeal “terrifying” while reassuring fans that their “girl is gonna be alright.”

The 26-year-old Grammy winner, whose legal name is Montero Lamar Hill, faces four felony charges for allegedly injuring responding officers who found him wandering around LA in nothing but tighty-whities and a pair of cowboy boots on Thursday.

“Your girl is gonna be OK, boo. OK? S–t’s gonna be all right,” he said in an Instagram Story. “S–t’s gonna be all right. S–t. That was f–king terrifying. That was terrifying. That was a terrifying last four days. But your girl is gonna be all right.”

He allegedly socked one officer “twice in the face” and was, at one point, captured galavanting around with a bright orange traffic cone on his head.

Once the officers were able to subdue an unruly Hill, he was taken to a nearby hospital and evaluated for a possible overdose, according to the police report.

He was arrested and pleaded not guilty on Monday, but responded affirmatively to the judge’s order that he attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings. He was released on a $75,000 bail — a massive step down from prosecutors’ $300,000 request.

Hill’s father, Robert Stanford, told reporters outside the courthouse that his son had no history of drug abuse and is “very remorseful.”

“It can happen to any family. He’s going to get the help he needs. So keep him in your prayers,” Stanford said, adding that “God is good.”

Two days before the alleged assault, the rapper scrubbed his Instagram and made 11 disjointed posts inside his trashed multi-million dollar Los Angeles home announcing his return to “dreamworld.”

One of the since-deleted posts included a candid video where Hill detailed his years-long struggle with confidence and becoming a self-medicated “hypochondriac” after his grandmother died in 2018 — around the same time he shot up in popularity after the release of “Old Town Road” at just 19 years old.

He explained that he would smoke weed “heavily,” which made him feel “more connected with the universe.”

Hill was hospitalized in April after he “lost control of the right side” of his face, but has since recovered.

The famed artist is due back in court on Sept. 15 for his next pre-trial hearing.
