When “With Love, Meghan” guest Tan France asked the Duchess of Sussex whether she or Harry, 40, said “I love you first,” Markle confirmed that “he told” her.
“She’s still got it!” the “Suits” alum, 44, quipped.
Markle noted that she knew she loved the Duke of Sussex on their third date camping in Botswana.
“You really get to know somebody when you’re in a little tent together and there’s like, ‘What is that outside the tent?’” she recalled with a laugh. “’That’s an elephant.’ ‘Are we gonna be safe?’ ‘Yeah, you’re safe.’ ‘OK.’”
In addition to her conversation with the “Queer Eye” alum, Markle opened up about the “terrible” meal she made before Harry proposed to her in 2017.
“I was still having a lot of challenges with the conversion of Celsius and Fahrenheit,” the former actress explained. “I made a horrible chicken that night.
“So the point is, you can make a terrible chicken, and someone is still going to appreciate the thought,” she continued.
Elsewhere in the episodes, Markle shared rare anecdotes about Harry, who did not make a cameo in the show like he did the first time around.
The couple served fried chicken and other “late-night bites” after their May 2018 wedding, the “Deal or No Deal” alum shared with chef Clare Smyth.
For their first anniversary, the duo celebrated in a “beautiful little old chapel.”
The pair welcomed son Archie, now 6, in May 2019, followed by daughter Lilibet, now 4, in June 2021.
Markle joked about having a “secret” third child while talking to Chrissy Teigen, saying it would have been “impressive” to keep that under wraps.
The second season of “With Love, Meghan” began streaming on Netflix Tuesday.
