How Many ‘Love Island USA’ Couples Are Still Together?
Reality TV skeptics love to insist that dating show contestants NEVER make it in the real world — especially when it comes to Love Island, a series known for endless makeouts, chaotic recouplings and an ever-rotating cast of “sexy singles.” With constant twists and encouragement to explore all possible connections, lasting love is more the exception than the rule. The U.S. version of the show, which originated in the U.K. in 2015, premiered in 2019. Since Love Island USA’s start, nine couples remain together, including those of the most recent season, which concluded July 13.
Despite the show’s low relationship success rate, seasons 5, 6 and 7 saw surprisingly high numbers of matches made it heaven. Season 5 produced the series’s first two lasting couples—and now, an engagement. Two solid couples from Season 6 are going strong, down from three after news of JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez’s messy breakup shook the internet in July. And although Season 7 only just ended, five of its couples are currently still dating. Wondering who’s going the distance? We put together a list just for you.

Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales (Season 7)
DATING SINCE: July 2025
America’s sweetheart, 25-year-old Amaya Espinal, found her match at long last when Casa Amor bombshell Bryan Arenales (28) swept her off her feet. During a turbulent challenge in which Amaya’s previous partners, Ace Greene and Austin Shepard, berated her for being too emotional and affectionate, Bryan jumped to her defense, sparking a connection that took them all the way to the end.
The two are continuing their journey after a jam-packed finale, in which they became exclusive, won first place and split the $100,000 prize.
“We just started off as friends, which I love. When I stood up for her in that challenge, it was honestly just natural,” Bryan told Decider. “Honestly, the next day we had a chat and I think that’s when everything with us started.”
Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen (Season 7)
DATING SINCE: July 2025
The Nicolandria fever struck the nation as early as Episode 2, when 24-year-old Nic Vansteenberghe’s initial attraction to Olandria Carthen (27) became clear to viewers. However, the friends-to-lovers did not couple up until after being kicked out of the villa for failing to find a connection during Casa Amor. In a shocking twist, producers essentially brought fans’ wildest dreams to life, sending the pair on a date and basically forcing them to couple up for a chance to return to the villa.
Now, the couple is enjoying their time outside the villa in L.A., and is clapping back at those who think they’re faking it.
“It’s truly this romantic storyline that was completely unwritten,” Nic told Decider.
Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez (Season 7)
DATING SINCE: July 2025
Iris Kendall (25) and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez (27) became an unlikely couple after each of their past connections were sent home. People accused them of faking it to make it to the end, but in post-villa times, they’re as lovey-dovey as ever, making it exclusive as soon as they got out.
“We just want to date one person and that’s how we normally move, so we’re going to move the same way,” Pepe told Decider. “We want to try to keep it as normal as humanly possible and date like we would.”
Ace Greene and Chelley Bissanthe (Season 7)
DATING SINCE: July 2025
From starting out as a fan-favorite couple to getting dumped right before the finale, Ace Greene (22) and Chelley Bissanthe (27) faced plenty of ups and downs throughout their time in the villa. While some fans felt the pair was too strategic in their actions, the couple has confirmed that they remain together outside of the villa and seem happy as can be, despite not making the final four.
“I found the prize by just getting to know her every single day, growing and learning about each other’s communication styles,” Ace told Variety. “Once we felt we had made a match, we became exclusive. I felt like my journey ended right there, and I was OK with America’s decision.”
Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway (Season 7)
DATING SINCE: July 2025
These two were America’s most hated couple after Casa Amor, when Taylor Williams (24) chose Clarke Carraway (24) over his original connection with Olandria. In the end, the two were voted off together, right after becoming exclusive. They remain together as of yet, taking a couples trip to Disneyland with Nic, Ace, Olandria and Chelley.
“It was easy knowing that if I’m leaving, I’m leaving with her. It’s not like I have to wait for her to get out, or she has to wait for me to get out to continue talking. I know we’ll be together,” Taylor told Decider. “We can continue talking together as soon as we leave here. She’s going to be a cowgirl out there shoveling horse shit.”
Serena Page and Kordell Beckham (Season 6)
DATING SINCE: August 2024
Serena Page (25) and Kordell Beckham (23) were the slow burn romance of the season, coupling up at the very start on night one. Kordell was quick to fall, but Serena’s feelings took time to develop past friendship, battling trust issues and uncertainty. After overcoming the tests of Casa Amor, the two became the strongest couple in the villa, eventually taking home the $100,000 prize for first place. Serena told People they won’t live together until they’re engaged, so they currently reside in Los Angeles separately. The two have done multiple photoshoots and commercials together since the show’s end, and plan on continuing that.
“We lowkey work well together,” Serena told Cosmopolitan. “At least when we don’t have to look each other in the eyes, because I’ll start laughing.”
Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichi (Season 6)
DATING SINCE: August 2024
For much of Love Island USA Season 6, original contestant Leah Kateb (25) received the unlucky “villain edit.” Still reeling from a rocky fling with contestant Robert Rausch, few expected Leah to find lasting love — until London-born bombshell Miguel Harichi (28) walked in the door. Miguel stole Leah’s heart, and the two then heisted the hearts of all America, earning second place at the end of the season. Nearly a year later, it’s clear Miguel and Leah were there for the right reasons. The two reportedly live together in Los Angeles, posting playful TikToks together and showcasing their love to social media, each boasting millions of followers.
In response to fans calling out Miguel’s tendency to refer to Leah as his “wife” online, he told Us, “We haven’t gone and got married, but for me, I just view her as my wife. When I date, I date for marriage. I don’t see any short-term things. Even though we aren’t married yet, I just view her as my woman, my second half, my wife. For me, it’s another way of putting her as my queen, my princess.”
Marco Donatelli and Hannah Wright (Season 5)
DATING SINCE: July 2023
ENGAGED SINCE: May 2025
Marco (24) and Hannah (26) took home the gold back in 2023, and made history when they became the first Love Island USA couple to get engaged in May of this year. They moved in together in Boca Raton right after the show aired. Though some fans accused them of putting on a show both during and after the season, they’ve clearly beat the allegations. According to People, Marco planned the surprise Punta Cana proposal for nine months before tying up the details in December 2024.
“This is about us, but most importantly it’s about you and everything you have done to change my life over the past two years. You are my pride, my joy, and my everything,” Marco said during the proposal. “I just can’t go on any longer, you know, without making you mine forever. And when I mean forever, I mean absolutely forever.”
Taylor Smith and Carsten (Bergie) Bergersen (Season 5)
DATING SINCE: August 2023
In the midst of 24-year-old Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen’s long-winded struggle to find a match on Love Island USA Season 5, bombshell Taylor Smith (25) entered the villa. Though some fans feared Taylor’s interest ingenuine, the pair wound up in third place by the end of the season and left the villa together as a couple. Reaching their two-year anniversary this August, their relationship remains long-distance—Bergie residing in South Dakota while Taylor lives in Texas.
“I have developed a relationship with airports, where I’m either really excited to go or never want to leave!” Bergie told Instagram on their one-year anniversary. “We have had so many FaceTime calls this past year that have gone on for endless hours but still never feel long enough! Heck, we fall asleep while FaceTime’ing more than we hang up, including last night!”
