The Liberty are in the final push of the regular season, and with only 1 ½ games separating the No. 2 and 5 seeds, the playoff picture remains murky.
Thursday saw New York suffer a stunning loss to the Sky that dropped the defending champs to fourth in the WNBA standings — a place the Liberty don’t want to be since it’d mean they’d have to get through the league-leading Lynx to get back to the WNBA Finals.

One game separates the two teams in the standings. And while the Liberty are 2-1 against the Dream this season, Saturday’s showdown carries multiple tiebreaker implications.
