Dakota Johnson’s silver Gucci gown compared to aluminum foil

Tinfoil, but make it fashion.

On Tuesday night, Dakota Johnson hit the Los Angeles premiere for her upcoming film “Splitsville,” clad in a metallic silver gown that some are jokingly comparing to a sheet of aluminum.

The actress’ high-shine Gucci number boasted a strapless neckline and floor-sweeping hem.

Skipping a necklace, she upped the shimmer with Roberto Coin jewelry, including dangly diamond statement earrings and a stack of coordinating chunky bracelets.

Johnson kept her red carpet beauty moment fairly simple, wearing her long brunette hair straight and opting for a subtle smokey eye, which made her eyes pop.

Many fans shared their hilarious comments on the look under Check the Tag’s Instagram post.

“I’m really into her as someone cosplaying a left over tortilla in tinfoil,” one person quipped. “Honestly, she could pull off donning a roll of Reynolds’s Wrap any old day. She is stunning,” a second joked.

But not everyone is poking fun at the foil-looking gown. “I feel like a necklace is missing but beyond that, this is a great look for her,” one user wrote.

Another added, “I always love Dakota’s style. She always looks lovely and doesn’t need to be OTT. Always simple and elegant 👏🏻✨”

Johnson has been busy promoting “Splitsville,” a rom-com also starring Adria Arjona, Michael Angelo Covino and Kyle Marvin, which hit theaters on August 16.
