The insider acknowledged that while “it was sad and there were tears … there were also a lot of laughs remembering Brandon’s pranks and sense of humor.”

The group also spent time “walking and hiking the roads” that Brandon, who lost his battle to cancer on Aug. 7 at age 48, “loved so much.”

Blackstock’s pals Shane Tarleton and Amanda Craig documented the occasion via Instagram Stories.

“@brandonblackstock would’ve loved this night so much,” the former wrote. “So many of his fav people in his backyard around a campfire at sunset.”

Craig, for her part, gushed, “We understand why you loved it here so much. Celebrating your wonderful life over the weekend was a true gift. We love you BB!”

It is unclear whether Blackstock’s ex-wife, Kelly Clarkson, attended the celebration of life.

Clarkson’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “American Idol” alum was married to Blackstock from 2013 to 2022, with the duo welcoming daughter River, 11, and son Remington, 9, during their time together.

Following their split, Blackstock moved on with Jones, Clarkson’s ex-assistant.

While we hear that Jones allegedly cheated on her then-husband, Greg LaPoint, with the businessman, multiple sources clarified to us that Blackstock was “long” divorced from Clarkson when the relationship began.

Jones’ identity was revealed when Blackstock’s obituary was published last week.

Her father gushed via Facebook that Jones and Blackstock, whom he “considered [a] son” were “soulmates.”

The romance was reportedly the “icing on the cake” in Clarkson’s “disappoint[ing]” breakup from Blackstock.

“Brandon chose to move on with someone Kelly knew and trusted, and that just adds to the person he ended up being to her,” the Daily Mail claimed Thursday. “He was a great father, but wasn’t a great husband.”

The Grammy-winning singer, 43, has yet to publicly comment on her ex’s passing.

Before their union, Blackstock was married to Melissa Ashworth, with whom he shared now-pregnant daughter Savannah and son Seth.
