Small plane crash lands onto Sydney golf course in lesson gone wrong, caught on hair-raising video
Insane video shows the moment a small plane made an emergency landing on a golf course in Australia early Sunday afternoon in an apparent flying lesson gone wrong.
A pilot instructor and his student, both believed to be in their 50s, crash landed at the Mona Vale Golf Course along Sydney’s Northern Beaches around 2 p.m. in front of shocked golfers.
Gob-smacked bystanders captured the hair-raising landing in wild footage that showed the plane skidding along the green, losing both its wheels in the process before coming to a halt on a small slope.
Frantic golfers rushed to the men’s aid with one good Samaritan even taking a tumble down the hill before righting himself on his feet and continuing towards the wreckage.
The two men on board the light plane only suffered minor injuries and were treated by paramedics on the course.
They were both transported to the Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition, a NSW Ambulance spokesman told NewsWire.
