How to watch 49ers vs. Raiders for free in Preseason Week 2
The San Fran-Sin City battle for a notch in the W column is officially on.
On Saturday, Aug. 16 at 4 p.m. EST, the 0-1 San Francisco 49ers will take on the 0-0-1 Las Vegas Raiders in a week 2 NFL preseason game at Sin City’s own Allegiant Stadium.
In week one, Niners backup QB Mac Jones saw action on the field. He completed four of seven passes for 74 yards and an interception in the team’s 30-9 loss against the Broncos. Corey Kiner rushed for 45 yards on ten carries.
Pete Carroll’s Raiders had a more unique season debut. Not only did they tie the Seahawks 23-23 but free agent signee and starting signal-caller Geno Smith flipped double birds at a fan of his former team who was holding a sign that read “Bigger bust – Geno or JaMarcus Russell.”
As for the actual game, backup Aidan O’Connell led the charge for the Raiders tossing 18 out of 30 passes for completion, including one into the end zone. Shedrick Jackson had four receptions for 76 yards and a TD.
