Taylor Swift reveals what she misses most about the Eras Tour on ‘New Heights’ podcast

Taylor Swift has certainly enjoyed a quieter offseason since wrapping the Eras Tour last year, but there are certain elements she misses from the international phenomenon.

When appearing on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast on Wednesday, the pop superstar reflected on the nearly two-year-long tour, which concluded in Canada in December, and how she misses connecting with the fans during the three-hour-plus shows.

“I miss it, but it’s like, it was perfect for what it was,” Swift, 35, said during her first podcast appearance.

“I miss it because I miss the fans and I miss that connection, it was the most formative time of my life, I learned so much about how far I can push myself.

“Coolest thing in the world, I had some really lofty goals I wanted to reach conceptually.”

Kelce, who supported Swift at various tour stops over the globe, made his Eras Tour debut at a London show in June when he appeared in “The Tortured Poets Department” set.

“It was so good, it was so special,” she said of Kelce, 35, her boyfriend of two years.

Upon concluding the Eras Tour, Swift supported Kelce and the Chiefs’ playoff run, which included their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance in February.

The Eagles went on to throttle the Chiefs, 40-22.

Although the couple flew under the radar in the NFL offseason, they have enjoyed some date nights in the public eye, including their appearance at the 2025 Stanley Cup Final, as well as a vacation with Erin Andrews and her husband, retired two-time Stanley Cup champion Jarret Stoll, and Charissa Thompson and her partner, Steve Cundari.

The “Fortnight” singer spent time with Kelce this offseason in Florida, where the three-time Super Bowl champ moved into a $20 million mansion in the exclusive Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club to focus on his training at Johnny O’s Gym nearby.

Swift also attended Tight End University — a week-long event for NFL tight ends to bond and train in the offseason — in Nashville, where she put on a surprise performance of “Shake It Off” at a private concert for the players and friends with country singer Kane Brown.

Kelce put in the work this offseason, getting a bit “slimmer.”

“He will debut a bit of a slimmer look,” ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler said in June on “SportsCenter.”

Kelce, who is entering his 13th NFL season, was listed as 250 pounds in 2024.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid has even lauded his “svelte” tight end, remarking he looks half his age.

In an interview published Tuesday with GQ, Kelce explained that he hasn’t played to his standard the past two years.

“I think it might have slipped a little bit because I did have a little bit more focus in trying to set myself up. And opportunities came up where I was excited to venture into a new world of acting and being an entertainer,” Kelce said.

“I don’t say this as ‘I shouldn’t have done it.’ I’m just saying that my work ethic is such that I have so much pride in how I do things that I never want the product to tail off, and I feel like these past two years haven’t been to my standard. I just have such a motivation to show up this year for my guys.”

Since Kelce and Swift first got together in the summer of 2023, the future Hall of Famer has leaned into numerous entertainment opportunities — including an appearance in this summer’s “Happy Gilmore 2” and a role in the FX series “Grotesquerie” last fall.

Travis also signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in 2023.

Kelce is hoping to collect his fourth Super Bowl title before potentially calling it a career.
