Kelly Ripa Teases That She Was “So Impressed” With How Mark Consuelos Could Quickly Take Off A Bra: “This Guy Knows His Way Around A Bra!”

Live with Kelly and Mark may be on their summer break, but Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are still bringing the heat—and the laughs.

On Wednesday’s previously recorded episode, Ripa kicked off a conversation about bras, telling viewers that “bras are older than you think.”

“And I don’t mean just my bra,” she quipped.

Consuelos inquired as to the “average age” of his wife and co-host’s bras, to which she claimed, “thousands of years.”

“I mean, my bras last forever because they don’t get a big workout,” she joked. “I’m not asking a lot of them, if you know what I’m saying. You know what I mean? Basically I wear a bra to hold my microphone on. That is why I wear a bra. Not to hold anything else because there’s nothing else there.”

Ripa also preemptively hushed those who may be bothered by her bra talk.

“And I don’t care if you’re offended. Shut it,” she teased. “But that is why I wear a bra.”

Consuelos proceeded to spice things up, saying that he “used to like” the bras that “had the little snaps in the front.” Ripa began to say Consuelos was “very good at” taking them off, as he motioned the finessed flick

“You were impressed, weren’t you?”he asked Ripa, who agreed she “was so impressed.”

“I was like, ‘Wow! I mean, this guy knows his way around a bra!’” she quipped.

Consuelos added, “Do you know why? If you’re from Tampa, you know how to do that stuff quick.”

Ripa said that Consuelos was even quick to navigate bras with “back fasteners,” which he teased was “child’s play.” However, she said that may not be the case anymore.

“But now you don’t know how to get this one off, do you?” she asked.

Consuelos joked, “I’m like, ‘Raise your hands up.’”

As he and Ripa laughed with the audience, he added, “‘Oh, no? We’ll just go down.’”

Ripa explained that her bra has no fastener, and that she “put[s] it on over [her] head.”

Consuelos said, “It’s a tank top.”

Ripa agreed, “It’s like a tank top. But it holds my mic in place.”

As for why Live is not airing live episodes right now, a production source informed DECIDER that the Live family is on their summer break that happens every year. Fortunately, the episodes airing during this break still feature some fresh, new content.
