Taylor Swift wears her own merch to announce ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ album on ‘New Heights’

It’s a new era for “New Heights.”

Taylor Swift is finally set to make an appearance on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s podcast, which he shares with brother Jason, on Wednesday. In a flirty teaser clip, she was seen sitting side-by-side with her beau, wearing a very familiar looking outfit.

The pop star sported a tan pleated skort by Sandy Liang ($625) with a vintage Cartier de Panthère necklace, Cartier gold watch ($28,200) and a $12,000 Esqueleto diamond ring.

Her shirt, however, was much more affordable — and meaningful. Swift, 35, in fact wore her own merch: a $50 “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” poplin button-up featuring seagulls on the back.

And it appears the combination is now a go-to for Swift; last month, she wore the exact same outfit while out on a lunch date with Kelce. For their outing, however, she pulled her hair into a ponytail, but let it loose for the podcast episode, which will be released in full on Wednesday night.

The pop star already made waves with her “New Heights” debut, announcing the name of her next album: “The Life of a Showgirl.”

Not only did she tease the color scheme — a glittering orange — but she has begun dropping clues about what to expect musically, with mysterious billboards popping up in Nashville and New York City and a curated playlist perhaps indicating the sonic direction of Swift’s forthcoming 12th album.

Fans went wild with speculation with the podcast’s social media page shared an image on Monday featuring a mystery guest’s silhouette that appeared to match the “Cruel Summer” singer’s.

There were other clues, too, including Jason Kelce’s shirt — which was in fact Eras Tour merch plastered with a portrait of the pop star — as well as an orange glitter background, which differs from the show’s typical yellow color scheme and matches up with the hue Swift’s been teasing in various posts hinting at her next era.

The Grammy winner is notorious for incorporating Easter eggs into her outfits, though she’s been decidedly low-key all year after wrapping her two-year tour in December.

After supporting Kelce at the remainder of his Kansas City Chiefs football games, including a massive loss at the 2025 Super Bowl, the couple have enjoyed a summer full of travel and relaxation, with the superstar taking a break from any particular dress code and embracing breezy looks, with many incorporating florals.

However, it appears she’s back to business — and fans are eagerly dissecting her every clothing choice, move and word.
