Giants’ Jordan Bly set for battle with Jets coach father Dre
There are no freebies in the Bly family.
So Giants rookie receiver Jordan Bly isn’t going to take it easy on the cornerbacks who are coached by his father Tuesday and Wednesday during joint practices against the Jets.
And Jets defensive backs coach Dré Bly — a two-time Pro Bowler whose 11-year NFL career ended in 2009 — isn’t going to manipulate matchups during those practices or Saturday’s preseason game so that his son shines in a bid to make the 53-man Giants roster.
“I’m extremely excited,” Jordan told The Post. “Competition is what our family is all about.”
