‘WWHL’: MGK Says Ex Megan Fox Was His First Celebrity Crush
From adorably addressing his ex-fiancée Megan Fox to sharing details on his rumored relationship with Sydney Sweeney, Colson “MGK” Baker left his mark on the Bravo Clubhouse during Sunday night’s (Aug. 10) episode of Watch What Happens Live.
The musician, who shocked host Andy Cohen with the revelation that he may or may not be half-alien, made a sweet nod to Fox, with whom he shares a daughter, during a game of “Pillow Talk.”
When asked to name his first celebrity crush, MGK said, “We just had a child together,” before adding, “Maybe Lola Bunny from Space Jam.” He also appeared to shut down rumors that he was dating Sweeney, which sparked in May after they were caught hugging in Las Vegas (MGK and Fox had been broken up since December, and Sweeney had recently called off her engagement).
“MGK, Kyle P. wants to know if there’s any truth to the rumor you and Sydney Sweeney were more than just friends,” Cohen asked, to which MGK replied, “Kyle P., shut up, dude.”
MGK and Fox, for their part, began their romance in 2020 after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. They got engaged in 2022, and while they briefly split up in 2023, they eventually reconciled and announced in November 2024 that they were expecting their first child together (Fox already shares three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, and MGK has a 16-year-old daughter from a former relationship). However, weeks after their big announcement, they broke up once more, with sources claiming Fox came across “text messages involving other women and decided she was done.”
MGK seemingly confirmed as much in his new song “Treading Water” from his seventh studio album Lost Americana. In the song, he sings, “This’ll be the last time you hear me say sorry / That’ll be the last tear you waste on me crying / I broke this home.”
But all hope for reconciliation isn’t lost just yet. Last month, Fox and MGK reunited for a family trip to Costa Rica, along with their daughter Saga Blade Fox-Baker, who was born in March.
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
