Seth MacFarlane Teases Kelly Ripa After Telling Her She’s Had A Different Co-Host “Every Time” He’s Appeared on ‘Live’: “I Think She’s Murdering Them”

Seth MacFarlane brought the jokes on Live with Kelly and Mark, but Kelly Ripa got the last laugh!

The Family Guy creator joined Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Monday’s previously recorded episode, where Consuelos introduced him as “the multi-talented Seth MacFarlane.”

Once MacFarlane sat down, Ripa sang his praises.

“Seth, I gotta tell you, when Mark made the announcement you were coming on here, he called you multi-talented. I don’t think that is a big enough phrase,” she said. “You are, in fact, I think, the most multi-talented person I’ve ever met.”

MacFarlane quipped, “I don’t have to sit here and take this,” as he jokingly left his seat.

Ripa teased, “All right. Bye. Get out.”

After Ripa told MacFarlane that he “started at a very early age with [his] multi-talents,” he made an observation.

“By the way, every time I come here, it’s a different co-host,” he teased.

Consuelos, who joined his wife on Live in April 2023, marks Ripa’s fourth permanent co-host, following Regis Philbin, Michael Strahan, and Ryan Seacrest.

Ripa joked, “This could be it for Mark.”

“I don’t want to, like, alarm anybody. I think she’s murdering them. I think she’s killing them,” MacFarlane teased of Ripa, who deadpanned, “Yes, I am.”

MacFarlane told Consuelos, “I think if we both walk out of here slowly right now before anything…”

Ripa masterfully played into the bit, saying to MacFarlane, “Seth, believe me, you wouldn’t make it to the door.”
