Undercover Eli Manning pranks PGA Tour stars at St. Jude Championship

Eli Manning had a few golfers fooled.

The legendary former Giants quarterback pretended to be a FedEx delivery driver who was serving as a tournament volunteer for the FedEx St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

He successfully pranked some of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars.

“I’m a FedEx courier, that’s my real job,” Manning, wearing a tournament volunteer shirt with a bucket hat and sunglasses, said around a confused group of players. “Always deliver, especially against the Patriots.”

That’s when Keegan Bradley finally realized it was Manning.

“I didn’t know that was you,” Bradley said. “I was like ‘who is this freak over here?’ Oh my God.”

Manning also asked to see Jordan Spieth’s credential, purposefully mispronouncing his name.

“Are you a golfer or a caddie?” Manning asked a befuddled Spieth.

“I didn’t see you at first,” Spieth later said after figuring out it was Manning. “That was pretty good. It took a second. I knew once he was grabbing onto [the credential], I knew it was something. But then I didn’t really look up at all.”

“You handled it well,” Manning replied. “You handled it better than I thought.”

Earlier in the video, Manning practiced shushing the crowd while Scottie Scheffler was practicing his shots.

“Gotta get practice,” Manning told Scheffler. “This is my practice range also.”

After a bad Scheffler shot, Manning said, “Ah, can’t handle it. Lost some focus.”

Scheffler eventually figured it out.

“I did not recognize you when you first came up here,” Scheffler said. “When he had his head down, I was like ‘obviously this is a bit. I just haven’t figured out what it is.’ But I love that you’re standing here shushing people away. It’s pretty sick.”
