Sarah Michelle Gellar seen in first photos from ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ reboot

Sarah Michelle Gellar is still slaying.

In the first photos from the set of the highly anticipated “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” revival series, the actress rocked a plunging red minidress.

The dress — which featured a large red rose at the waist — coordinated perfectly with a pair of bright red stilettos and a Yves Saint Laurent Sac de Jour handbag as the actress effortlessly slipped back into her former role of Buffy Summers.

The blonde bombshell, 48, finished her look with her signature long hairstyle and a pair of distinctive earrings.

In other photos taken in Los Angeles Friday, Gellar sipped on a cup of coffee, navigated trailers and chatted with cast and crew on the set of the upcoming Hulu series.

Gellar originally played the iconic role from 1997 to 2003, opposite co-stars including the late Michelle Trachtenberg, Alyson Haningan and David Boreanaz, among others.

After Hulu announced in February that it had ordered a pilot for a new, untitled “Buffy” project with Gellar in the title role, the actress took to Instagram to confirm the news.

“So….. you might have heard some news this week, but I realize you haven’t heard from me,” she wrote alongside a throwback pic from the beloved series.

The “Cruel Intentions” actress explained that before hearing director Chloé Zhao’s take on a revival, she “just didn’t see a way for the show to exist again.”

However, their first meeting turned into a “four hour adventure.”

“We laughed, we cried, but mostly we both talked about how much this show means to us,” Gellar divulged in her post.

“While I didn’t agree to anything at that meeting, I did shock myself by agreeing to continue the conversation,” she added.

Gellar wrote that she has “always listened to the fans and heard your desire to revisit ‘Buffy’ and her world, but it was not something I could do unless I was sure we would get it right. This has been a long process, and it’s not over yet.”

“I promise you, we will only make this show if we know we can do it right. And I will tell you that we are on the path there.”

“Thank you to all the fans who never stopped asking for this,” Gellar concluded the post. “This will be for you.”
