Tequila-toting nitwit gets stuck in California chimney after ‘dancing’ and ‘pulling her pants’ down on roof

A boozed-up homeless woman got lodged in a California chimney after she was spotted dancing on a rooftop and yanking down her pants – with a half-empty bottle of tequila later found in her backpack, according to witnesses and officials.

The 31-year-old nitwit ended up wedged three feet deep inside the flue after clambering onto the roof of the San Fernando Recreation Center and attempting to scale the small stone chimney Tuesday night, multiple outlets reported.

“I could see a lady on top of the roof,” Israel Olivas told KABC News.

Another witness added that the woman, identified by People as Ashley Alba, “was trying to climb onto the chimney.”

“She was pulling her shirt up, then pulling her pants down, just on the roof like, dancing. I come around again and I see her hands waving out the chimney. She’s just screaming, ‘Help! Help! Help!’”

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the bizarre scene around 7:30 p.m., and was captured on video skillfully hoisting the erractic dunce out of the smoke shoot using a rope system.

Wild footage taken by KNBC showed Alba, who was conscious and ashy, being pulled by her arms from the chimney as firefighters swung her legs free.

An onlooker who was at the scene said Alba “was trying to climb onto the chimney.” abc7

“It was kind of interesting how she ended up there,” Jose Rivera, who saw the drunken debacle and subsequent rescue, told the outlet.

“She was joking, but then she ended up stuck there; she couldn’t get out. You could tell that after a while, it was serious.”

Residents near the area recognized Alba as she appeared intoxicated before getting stuck, as the homeless woman is currently being held at a local hospital for a mental-health evaluation. abc7

Community members told the outlets that they recognized Alba — who appeared to be intoxicated before becoming stuck — as a local homeless woman who often wanders the area.

Another witness added that her backpack contained a half-empty bottle of booze.

Alba was reportedly taken to a local hospital in fair condition and later charged with trespassing.

She is currently being held for a 72-hour mental evaluation, officials told People in a statement.
