Tony Adams’ quest for Jets redemption runs deep

Shortly after Aaron Glenn was hired as the new coach of the Jets last winter, Tony Adams made the trip to Florham Park to see him.

The safety was about to be a restricted free agent and was coming off a disappointing 2024 season that saw him get benched.

“I didn’t know what was going to happen,” Adams said last week after a training camp practice.

Glenn did not have many answers for Adams at that point. He told Adams he was not sure what the team was going to do yet in free agency. He told the fourth-year pro to stay ready and control what he could control.
