Fans let Chargers player have it after he brings girlfriend to camp
Chargers defensive tackle Naquan “Nay” Jones received a warm welcome from fans as he was seen with his girlfriend, Bri Rose, at training camp Monday.
The crowd began cheering and hyping Jones as the couple walked together on the practice field at The Bolt in El Segundo, as seen in a video on social media.
“Hey Jones, that’s why you smiling?” someone asked. “OK, I see you my boy!”
Jones, who had his blue hood on his head, couldn’t help but laugh.
He waved to the fans as they began chanting.
“Naquan Jones brought his boo out and we let him have it,” the fan wrote on X, including the video.
Rose wore blue Chargers sunglasses and she had a team scrunchie around her wrist, as seen in a photo posted to her Instagram Story.
She also had a pin attached to her stadium bag of Jones sporting his No. 96 uniform.
“My favorite,” Rose wrote with a blue heart emoji, including a snapshot of her and Jones at training camp.
The couple vacationed in Oahu, Hawaii before the start of Chargers training camp.
They made their relationship public on social media in July.
Jones was signed by the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan following the 2021 NFL Draft.
He signed with the Chargers in March after stints on the Cardinals’ and Dolphins’ respective practice squads.
