Man shoots hammer-wielding peeping Tom gawking at sister-in-law

A Texas man shot a peeping Tom in the leg after he caught him gawking at his sister-in-law through a bathroom window — yet he’s the one who got busted.

Quintin Mitchell, 24, was charged with aggravated assault for defending his family’s Houston home early Friday morning after the perv smashed the bathroom window, KTRK-TV News reported.

The unidentified peeping Tom was armed with a hammer and a butcher knife during the incident, which first started at 5 a.m., at the Life at Jackson Square apartments — but it didn’t seem to matter to cops, the outlet said.

“I literally am scared to actually be in these apartments or in this area anymore because [Houston Police Department] doesn’t take anything serious,” Mitchell’s frustrated wife, Derrion Davis, told KRTK.

“Like, they just let everything go around here.”

Davis’ sister, Konta Davis, was getting ready for work early Friday morning when she was startled by a stranger peering in the bathroom window.

“He’s asking me [if] I have a cigarette,” she recalled.

Konta Davis and Mitchell were able to shoo the intruder away — temporarily.

Hours later, the creep returned and smashed the bathroom window, they said.

“My mom was in the bathroom as he burst [the window],” Konta Davis said. “She thought somebody was shooting. That’s how bad. She said she just dropped to the ground and started crawling.”

Mitchell and his sister-in-law ran outside to confront the armed goon.

“And shots went off,” she said.

Mitchell clipped him in the leg and the peeping Tom fell to the ground. The family immediately called police.

The following day, however, it was Mitchell that Houston cops charged.

“I definitely don’t think he deserved that,” Derrion Davis said of her husband. “I think he deserved self-defense, because that’s what it was.”
