Jack Osbourne’s wife Aree honors Ozzy Osbourne after his death

Jack Osbourne’s wife, Aree Gearhart, is paying tribute to her late father-in-law Ozzy Osbourne.

Gearhart took to Instagram to share a touching carousel of family photos with the late musician, calling him the “coolest father-in-law.”

“I’m pretty sure I have the coolest father-in-law around and the best papa to my kids,” she wrote in her caption on Sunday. “The world got a rockstar, but we got an ice lolly-loving, goofy, big-hearted guy who made us laugh like no other.”

The first photo shows Gearhart posing beside Ozzy on her and Jack’s wedding day. The “Prince of Darkness” is then pictured lying on the couch, embracing his 3-year-old granddaughter Maple, and later lounging with her on his chest when she was a baby.

The couple quietly tied the knot in 2023 and share one child, Maple. Jack is also father to three daughters — Pearl, 13; Andy, 10; and Minnie, 7 — from his first marriage to Lisa Stelly.

“He was always in my corner, and I forever am thankful to him for raising my husband and blessing me [with] my family,” Gearhart’s tribute continued. “We got Nana always, Papa. Keep giving us all those signs from above 🖤✨.”

“We’ll keep your name loud, your stories alive, and your love wrapped around us like armor,” she concluded. “Forever our guy.”

Gearhart’s post offered a glimpse into the Osbourne family’s life, featuring photos of the heavy metal icon spending quality time with his extended family — including one showing Ozzy, Jack, Gearhart, daughter Aimee Osbourne and three of his grandchildren sporting matching Santa Claus hats.

Ozzy died on July 22 at the age of 76. He passed away “surrounded by love,” his family wrote in a statement to The Post.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the statement read. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect out family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

Ozzy and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, shared three children: daughters Aimee, 41, and Kelly 40, and son Jack, 39. The late rocker also had three other children — Elliot, Jessica and Louis — from his first marriage to Thelma Riley.

Gearhart’s tribute follows a funeral procession held on July 30 in Birmingham, England, where her husband Jack and his family gathered to honor Ozzy one week after his passing.

The following day, the Black Sabbath legend was laid to rest next to the lake of his Buckinghamshire home.
