Earthquake strikes New Jersey, tremors felt in parts of NYC: officials

A small earthquake rocked parts of New Jersey and New York Saturday night, according to officials.

The magnitude 3.0 quake struck six miles beneath the ground in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, at 10:18 p.m., Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey.
