Swastikas, racial slur etched into kids playground equipment at Long Island park: cops
Long Island authorities are hunting down a hateful vandal who carved swastikas and a racial slur into playground equipment at a public park.
An employee at Wantagh Park in Nassau County noticed the abhorrent graffiti – which included two swastikas, each about six-by-six inches in size – and reported it to police around 3 p.m. Friday, according to the Nassau Police Department, which declined to divulge the nature of the racial slur.
Cops have yet to make any arrests.

The perp could face felony criminal mischief charges since the damage caused by the etchings exceeds $250, a department spokesperson told The Post.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the disturbing incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.
