Dee Williams continues to make convincing Giants roster case

Observations from the Giants’ camp on Friday:

Great Dee

Cornerback Dee Williams showed out, recording two interceptions (both off Tommy DeVito) and two pass breakups during 11-on-11s. His second interception was one-handed in the end zone. He has a shot to make the team.

Mind Your Business

Brian Daboll has begun yanking players off the field after mental mistakes. Offensive linemen James Hudson and Jake Kubas were taken out after false starts. Receiver Dalen Cambre was subbed out — and received an earful from Daboll — after missing a blocking assignment.

Caught My Eye

Both the starting and second-team offense struggled during two-minute drills, put in a situation where they had to score a touchdown and failing to do so.

Injury Report

Cam Skattebo returned to team drills for the first time in two days but subsequently left practice early with trainers. Daboll said before practice they are “managing” him, but it’s unclear what the injury is.
