Drake reveals where son Adonis was conceived in TMI concert confession
Drake made a candid confession about his sex life at his concert in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
The hip-hop star, 38, told the audience, “I was saying backstage, I was saying that this is the place — a very special place in my heart — because this is where my son was conceived,” per a clip posted on X.
The crowd immediately started cheering and shouting in response. The “U My Everything” rapper then added, “So this is a big show for me, you know? I hold Amsterdam very dear to my heart.”
“There would be no Adonis if there wasn’t an Amsterdam, so shoutout to y’all,” he concluded.
Drake and his child’s mother, Sophie Brussaux, welcomed Adonis in December 2017.
However, the “Family Matters” rapper kept his son secret for many years.
In 2018, there were rumblings about Drake becoming a dad after Pusha T rapped on his diss track “The Story of Adidon,” “Sophie knows better, ask your baby mother / Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her / A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap.”
“We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts / You are hidin’ a child, let that boy come home / Deadbeat motherf—ker playin’ border patrol,” the Clipse rapper, 48, continued.
“Adonis is your son / And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real / Love that baby, respect that girl / Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world.”
Drake was reportedly concerned at the time that he was not Adonis’ father, with his rep telling TMZ of Brussaux, “This woman has a very questionable background. She has admitted to having multiple relationships. We understand she may have problems getting into the United States.
“She’s one of many women claiming he got them pregnant. If it is in fact Drake’s child, which he does not believe, he would do the right thing by the child.”
In 2020, Drake finally posted about his son on Instagram for the first time, cryptically writing, “When the mind starts to move into overthinking or fear, shift your attention right away to something bright. It doesn’t matter what has happened in the past or what is happening around us now.
“I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on.”
Since then, the “One Dance” rapper has continued to post publicly about Adonis, 7, including frequent birthday shoutouts via social media.
