Russell Wilson and Malik Nabers once again flashed the connection the Giants need to carry into the season, with Wilson rolling out to his right before tossing a ball that traveled more than 50 yards in the air.

Nabers collected it inside the 10-yard line, fighting his way through coverage — and a penalty — from Cor’Dale Flott while coming down with possession.

On the run

At the end of a sloppy practice, which included a false start penalty by Jermaine Eluemunor, coach Brian Daboll made the Giants run short sprints from the end zone to the 10-yard line.

Caught my eye

During a special teams drill in between team periods, Paulson Adebo, the Giants’ $54 million cornerback, stayed near the 10-yard line — away from the drill, away from everyone else watching on the sideline — and worked on his footwork alone.

He’s the furthest thing from a bubble player. He just cashed in during the offseason. But he didn’t waste a quiet moment of practice.

Injury report

Nabers (shoulder) was a full participant in practice. RB Cam Skattebo didn’t participate in team drills.

OL Greg Van Roten missed practice — and might again Friday, too — as he’s “going through” the birth of his child, Daboll said. DL D.J. Davidson didn’t practice due to a personal reason.
