Sex toy thrown on court during final moments of WNBA game

Well, that’s not supposed to happen.

Tuesday’s Dream-Valkyries game was interrupted by an NSFW moment in the fourth quarter, when what appeared to be a lime green colored dildo was thrown on the court.

Atlanta and Golden State were tied 75-75 with less than a minute to play, when the object fell from above, bounced on the free throw line and flew across the court at Gateway Center Arena.

The broadcaster crew, which kept it classy, couldn’t help but laugh at the moment.

“Something flies on the court, I think there was something that flew from a fan on the court,” play-by-play announcer Jacob Tobey said as the Valkyries had the ball.

“This has been one of a kind… can they figure out who did that and get ’em out?” Tobey asked.

“Even so, when you have a lime green item just kind of fly… that’s when the whistle should be blown because as a player you want to feel protected, you want to know what’s going on, and then there’s confusion on the at final possession,” fellow announcer Morgan Ragan said.

Tobey explained that the fans in attendance were “unhappy,” as there were too many delays in the game.

A timeout was called as Atlanta got the rebound.

The game was paused as police and arena security entered the court to remove the object.

“Police and security are headed to the area where they’re going to try and figure out the fan, of course, everyone is going to point and nominate who it was,” Tobey explained.

The camera zoomed in on the green object on the floor before showing fans pointing in the direction of where they thought the item had been tossed.

“Oh my gosh, OK, inappropriate,” Ragan said. “Get ’em out of here, whoever it is.”

A police officer was seen carrying the object in a towel and removing it from the court.

It’s unclear if police found the fan who threw it on the court or if disciplinary action was taken.

The Valkyries beat the Dream, 77-75.
