Emma Messeman’s Liberty arrival brings complicated roster puzzle

MINNEAPOLIS — Emma Meesseman is one step closer to being a member of the Liberty. 

Meesseman, a marquee free agent who will soon make her return to the WNBA after a 2 ½-year absence, arrived in New York on Wednesday, a source confirmed to The Post. 

Meesseman underwent a physical upon her arrival, which is a standard procedure for signing a player, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. 

The Liberty are in the process of trying to figure out if she can join the team on its next stop on this road trip — Connecticut, which is where the defending champions are scheduled to play Friday and Sunday.
