Denise Richards claims estranged husband Aaron Phypers stole her private photos, violated restraining order
Denise Richards is claiming her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, stole her private photos and violated her temporary restraining order against him amid their tumultuous divorce.
The “Drop Dead Gorgeous” star is asking that Phypers “return to [her] all pictures, recordings and cell phones of [hers],” according to court documents filed Monday and obtained by Page Six.
Richards is also asking that her estranged husband “be prohibited from using, delivering, copying, printing, or disclosing any text messages, emails, photos, notes or other content from my cell phone or laptop or any other of my electronic devices.”
The update comes days after Phypers accused Richards of having an affair with her “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” instructor Rudy Reyes.
Richards’ divorce attorney Brett Berman claimed in a statement to People that Phypers was in violation of his court-ordered TRO by “disseminating private information from Ms. Richards’ cell phone and laptop, which he stole.”
“We have warned Mr. Phypers in writing not to disseminate any information from Ms. Richards’ stolen cell phone and laptop but, he continues to do so,” Berman said.
Reps for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Phypers accused the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum of cheating in a bombshell letter obtained by Page Six.
“Privately, I’ve wrestled with the painful truth: that Denise has been involved in an ongoing affair with her ‘Special Forces’ instructor, Rudy Reyes — something I confronted her about earlier this year,” Phypers, 49, alleged to their family and friends earlier this month.
Phypers claimed to have found evidence of alleged affair on her electronic devices.
“She begged me not to leave, saying it was nothing and that she only loved me. Then, she denied it all — even the explicit messages I found. Despite her promise to stop, more lies and shocking evidence emerged.”
Phypers filed for divorce from the “Wild Things” star on July 7 after an explosive Fourth of July fight. He claimed Richards stole and destroyed his phone after realizing he had sent himself her conversations with Reyes.
The former Quantum 360 founder, who was married to Richards for nearly seven years, also requested spousal support.
Shortly after the filing, Richards was granted a temporary restraining order by a judge after she accused Phypers of being physically abusive.
She alleged that her husband had once left her with a black eye after one violent incident.
Phypers has denied the allegations. He also claimed that his soon-to-be ex-wife “needs [an] intervention” for her alleged addiction to the painkiller Vicodin.
“She’s got a real problem. She mixes it, too, with booze, and she stays up all night,” he previously alleged to the Daily Mail, claiming that “she buys them in bottles of 500 pills.”
