Jets’ Josh Reynolds bests Sauce Gardner in training camp grab


Observations from the Jets’ training camp on Saturday:

Just Joshin’

Josh Reynolds caught a beautiful deep ball down the left sideline over Sauce Gardner during team drills.

Hall Passed

Breece Hall dropped a pass during individual drills then later fumbled during team drills.

Caught My Eye

Though they didn’t actually tackle — that will come next week when they get into full pads — Aaron Glenn introduced a 1-on-1 tackling drill for the first time this training camp.

Gardner stood up Garrett Wilson, prompting a big celebration from his defensive teammates.

Injury Report

Justin Fields participated in individual drills and 7-on-7s, though not in full 11-on-11s two days after suffering a dislocated toe. Glenn said they’re “trying to ease him in.”
