Chappell Roan Announces 2025 Shows in New York, Kansas City and Los Angeles

The Midwest Princess is making her way back out on the road!

On Thursday, July 24, Chappell Roan announced on Instagram that she will be performing pop-up shows in New York, Los Angeles and Kansas City. These dates serve as an extension of the Vision of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour, which kicked off in Europe on May 30 at the Warsaw Festival.

“I am sooooo excited to announce my Pop-Up Shows in New York, Kansas City, and Los Angeles this fall 😀  I love these three cities so much + wanted the chance to do something special before going away to write the next album,” she began.

Roan, 27, continued: “Because we’re only coming to three cities, I wanted to make sure 1. we’re keeping ticket prices as affordable as possible and 2. we’re trying to keep them away from scalpers.”

She then revealed she is partnering with Fair AXS to attempt to cut down on scalpers and bots and keep tickets affordable for fans. The service requires fans to register for their desired tour date (or dates), before taking the week before taking the week leading up to pre-sale to attempt to remove bots, sending all real accounts a link to purchase tickets. Roan is also teaming up with Cash App to give fans with a Cash App Visa debit card 15% cash back on ticket purchases. 

“AXS will take the next week to try and remove bot or scalper emails and randomly select only real people who will be given access to purchase tickets,” she wrote. “If you’ve been selected, AXS will send you an email between Tuesday, August 5th and Thursday, August 7th with a link to purchase — so watch your inbox AND CHECK YOUR SPAM! If you’re not selected to be able to purchase tickets, you’ll receive an email with details on the waitlist starting August 7th.”

The “Pink Pony Club” singer also pledged to donate a dollar of each ticket’s proceeds to local charities in each city devoted to supporting transgender youth. “It is so important that I give back to the Trans community as they have given me so much throughout my entire career,” she wrote in a press release statement.

“Thank you for understanding and I’m sorry it’s a lot of info!! I truly cannot wait to see you ♡‧₊˚,” Roan concluded.

The “After Midnight” performer’s three stops will include multiple shows, with Roan performing four days in New York (Sept. 20-24) and two days in Kansas City (Oct. 3-4) and Los Angeles (Oct. 10-11).

Roan chose the three cities included as locations she loves “so much”. The Grammy-winning artist was born in Willard, Missouri, just over two hours from Kansas City and she has featured Los Angeles and New York throughout the lyrics to her songs (“Pink Pony Club”, “Naked in Manhattan,” “California”). 

The tour announcement follows the recent sightings of the singer with an extra few feet of hair, shooting a music video in New York City. Fans speculated the video may be connected to the unreleased single “The Subway” that Roan debuted at Governor’s Ball 2024 — and a teaser poster has since been shared on Pop Base’s X account.

It’s unclear if “The Subway” — or her post-album single “The Giver” — will land on the singer’s sophomore record.
