This Kid Successfully Saved the Titanic in a Simulation
When most people hear the story of the Titanic, their natural first question is, “Well, why didn’t the captain just steer the ship away from the iceberg?”
Our entire lives, we’ve been told that such a task would have been impossible — that the iceberg was noticed so late that crashing into it was an inevitability. To prove this fact, the Titanic Museum set up a simulation in which one is tasked with trying to avoid the iceberg.
And this kid did it. Easily. Guess the O.G. captain just didn’t care enough!
